DCOCD 26 - Identity Crisis

DCOCD is the DC Comics EVENT PODCAST where we discuss, contextualise and rank every single DC event in order starting with 1985's Crisis on Infinite Earths up to... we're not sure yet.

Paul and Mike look at the entirely non-controversial, universally beloved event from 2004, IDENTITY CRISIS. They are joined by the stars of the Relatively Geeky Podcasting Network, Professor Alan and Emily who bring the academic analysis that they are famous for.

This 7 issue dark dive into the dangers of relationships with superfolk was from writer Brad Meltzer, artist Rags Morales, covers by the late great Michael Turner, lettered by Ken Lopez, colours by Alex Sinclair and edited by Mike Carlin.

Listen to find out what were the shocks, joys and horrors of this notorious event.

DCOCD 25 - JLA/Avengers

DCOCD is the DC Comics EVENT PODCAST where we discuss, contextualise and rank every single DC event in order starting with 1985's Crisis on Infinite Earths up to... we're not sure yet.

Paul teams with the super talented and super articulate Xum Yukinori to look at the colossal crosscrossover comic mini-series event JLA/AVENGERS from 2003.

This 4 issue epic brought together every single JLA thing with every single Avengers thing and was lovingly crafted by artist George Perez and writer Kurt Busiek, with Richard Starkings, Tom Smith and Dan Raspler.

With the help of semi-OCD Kevin Wetter, Paul and Xum determine if this is actually the eventiest event to end all events that ever evented.

Listen to find out what were the highlights, things that impacted and more about this one.
